Your rental includes a premium Pedego electric bike, helmet, basic safety briefing, and a quick tutorial on the bike’s controls. We also provide route suggestions and a map of nearby wineries and attractions.
No special experience required! If you can ride a regular bicycle, you can easily handle a Pedego e-bike. The electric assistance makes pedaling effortless, and we provide a brief orientation before you start.
With Pedego’s electric assistance, you can comfortably cover 15-25 miles in 2 hours, depending on your pace and how many stops you make. This is plenty of distance to visit multiple wineries along Tesla Road.
Absolutely! Tesla Road features dedicated bike paths and multi-use trails specifically designed for cyclists. The routes to nearby wineries and breweries are well-maintained and bike-friendly.
You’re welcome to return early if you’re satisfied with your ride! However, the 2-hour rental rate remains the same whether you use the full time or return sooner.
Bike rental extension is subject to availability and dependent on the amount of bookings for the same day! Let us know if you’d like to extend your rental time, and we can arrange additional hours or upgrade you to our full-day rental option if availability allows.
Just bring yourself and a valid ID! We recommend comfortable clothes, sunglasses, and a small bag or backpack for any purchases. Water bottles can be helpful on warm days.

Start to finish we had such a fun experience!
The bikes were a joy to ride and in great condition. Everything was explained to us so well before we started our ride including what we might need along the route and how to ensure we had enough charge for the whole day. We had full support including knowing we could phone the shop if needed. Can’t say enough good things about this business and staff.
We (4 ppl) came to rent e-bikes and make a day of riding around the Livermore vineyards for wine tasting and food. The location is easy to find and with plenty of parking. They (Mike and his adorable rescue dog Roa) gave us a detailed and helpful lesson on how to operate the bikes and practice in the parking lot.

Mike was very friendly & helpful and recommended not only beautiful, scenic routes but a few different food and wine stops along the way if we needed to stop and take a break from all the cycling. Highly recommend stopping by and checking them out 🙂
